What is the Lift for Life program?

About Lift for Life

Lift for Life is a strength training program designed specifically for people with Type 2 diabetes based on research conducted at Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute. The program was previously conducted by International Diabetes Institute until the merge with the Baker Heart Research Institute to create the newly formed Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute.

Delivery

Lift for Life is delivered as a series of supervised 8-week programs. The sessions are conducted in small groups of no more than 12, in specially licensed facilities.
